What can I do if I missed pipeline connection? Is the levied Sewerage Utilization Fee refundable?

  1. When finding any drainage is missed for connection, please call Citizens’ Hotline 1999, or notify Operation Management Division of SSO (2597-3183, Ext. 188, 112, 113, 115, 120, 125). The SSO will help you to carry out relevant connection issues.   
  2. Sewerage pipelines are generally divided into two types: domestic household drainage (kitchen, bathroom, floor drain, etc) and septic Tank; if by test and inspection, the septic tank is connected but the household drainage is not, or vice versa, such cases will be categorized as “partially connected users” and SSO will alter it for a 1/2 levy of Sewerage Utilization Fee; the over-levied amount will be returned to the user. 
  3. SSO will assign personnel to complete connection for such “partially connected users.”
  4. The refund will be carried out by notifying the user via EPOST for a one-time refund; if the mis-levied user does not apply for the one-time refund, the excess levy will be returned to the user by deducting it from the monthly water bill of the user.
