Dihua Sewage Pumping Station is located in the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant; it collects sewage from connected users and 14 intercept facilities in Taipei City, connected Keelung users of Qidu District and Nuannuan District, and sewage from the Wudu Interception Station, as well as connected users in Xizhi area of New Taipei City and the relevant interception facilities.

Therefore, the Dihua Sewage Pumping Station mainly functions to boost a part of the sewage for delivery to the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant, with the excessive portion that the Dihua Plant is unable to accommodate transferred by gravity to Shizitou Sewage Pumping Station via the cross Tamsui River Trunk and Taipei City’s discharge pipeline.

• This Sewage Pumping Station boosts up sewage from the main trunk system of Taipei City and from the Suburban areas, including Qidu, Nuannuan, Wudu, and Xizhi, and delivers it separately to the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant and Shizitou Sewage Pumping Station.
• This station removes scum and sand from the collected sewage; it functions as the preliminary downstream processing facility for the Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant and Shizitou Sewage Pumping Station.
